In the context of the HungAIRy LIFE integrated project, the Herman Ottó Institute Nonprofit Ltd. organize the 'Second International Conference on Air Pollution – Moving Towards Clean Air for Europe.' The conference is a key platform for European air quality experts to discuss crucial topics regarding air pollution.

The latest short film by HungAIRy Eco-management Office in Miskolc draws attention to the ban on burning and its harmful effects. The short film is based on the poem LÁNG (flame) by Árpád Tóth. Performed by: Tibor Osváth, actor of the Miskolc National Theatre.

Due to the high number of relevant projects and the limited timeframe of the conference, the organizers have already been contacted the leaders of the relevant projects and invited them to provide an oral presentation during the conference.

We proudly announce the “International Conference on Air Pollution – Moving Towards Clean Air for Europe” which is organized in the framework of the HungAIRy LIFE integrated project on 9-10 November 2021. The final program of the conference will be published at the end of October 2021.

Over the past few decades in Hungary, a number of action plans have been set for tackling air pollution. Air quality action plans include a series of measures focusing on reducing emissions of key air pollutants in the regions.
